I am currently teaching math at the Garland Independent School District in Texas. I teach Geometry, Algebra and Math Models. The Math Models class involves the financial aspects of mathematics.

I love math and love helping students with math! I have taught math at the middle school, high school, and university level for a total of 16 years experience. I have a B.S. degree in mathematics from Texas A&M, an M.A. in mathematics from the University of Wisconsin, and have just completed my PhD in mathematics at the University of Texas-Arlington.

...I graduated from a small school called Cedar Hill Collegiate High School where I was ranked number four of my class. My high school is considered on of the most successful early college programs in the state of Texas. By the time I graduated high school in 2012, I also obtained an Associates degree from Cedar Valley Community College.

...I am a UNT College of Engineering graduate with a degree in IT. I am a trained and experienced programmer, web designer, software design analyst, database designer, system tester, and implementation specialist. I have experience in all areas of IT and software/web design including managing teams and projects.

...I was also instructor for the GMAT (along with the GRE) at Kaplan. The GMAT is slightly different format-wise and scoring-wise from the GRE, but the underlying concepts (or basic tricks) needed for mastering it are basically the same as that of the gre. I know the typical problems students run into with these exams so I know what to it takes to correct them.
