...In Spring 2004 I was the recipient of a student competition award from the American Institute of Architects at the A&D Museum in West Hollywood. I am enrolled at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona-CAL POLY- to complete a Major in Architecture and a Minor in Math. I also received the Don Leiffer award for excellence in Math at West Los Angeles College in spring 2005.

...A slightly different strategy might be needed for ACT. As students move through their math studies, a lot of material is forgotten or just not used a lot. Going over the basics again, like fractions, decimals and percents can play a large part in success for algebra and beyond.
