...They need to be able to explain math in language the student can understand. Eye contact and body language are very important. A good tutor will present examples and have the student finish examples on their own.

...I had the opportunity to meet with a math professor twice a week for consultation and to decide if I was ready for the five-hour test. The test would only be passed if I had accomplished 80% of the correct answers. This way of learning allowed me to develop a study method and forced me to think.
