...I graduated in May 2011 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics and a teaching certificate to teach mathematics in grades 7-12. While in college, I was part of the Academic Learning Center where I tutored college students in mathematics and sociology anywhere from basic courses to preparing for the Praxis exams. How I tutor depends on the student.

...I find it easy to relate to students in 1 on 1 or small group settings and can present material in a way that they can understand it. If one approach doesn't work, I'll try another...then another, until the student feels comfortable. My particular strength is in preparation for the Math SAT as I have had students routinely score in the 600-700 range and one even scored a 780!
