I first taught writing when I was a graduate student and Teaching Assistant at Western Washington University (1971-1973) and have been involved in writing and teaching almost continuously since then. I became a Certificated English teacher in 1986. My experience includes middle school, high school, community college, and university level courses.

For older students I provide a positive atmosphere where we can work though problems, go over concepts, and review vocabulary.
