...Almost every math course I have taken since algebra, relied heavily on algebra as its backbone. Learning to study for math in an organized fashion was my saving grace. It has allowed me to fully understand where I started and where I finished, and am able to go back and review work that I have already done in order to gain a better understanding of where I am going.

...I hope to teach the students to link their knowledge in biochemistry, molecular biology with other courses. I have a dream; to one day have students called me Professor G. To one day stand on the stage and teach protein-protein interaction, to talk how we attenuate HIV and talk how a good scientist analyzes strange data and makes a new discovery.

...I also have specifically tutored students in SAT math. Each session I teach on SAT math focuses on the needs of the individual student. For many past students, it has been helpful to focus on recognizing which mathematical principles a complex SAT math questions is testing via several techniques including using the clues available in the answer choices.

...During college I continued my study with courses in linear algebra and abstract algebra. In those courses I worked with the properties of fields, vector spaces and linear subspaces. This included work with determinants, matrices, scalar operations, linear transformations, solutions of multi-variable systems of linear equations and functional analysis.
