...That said, the key to doing very well in a microeconomics course is to solve problems. Reading and understanding the concepts is Necessary by NOT Sufficient for doing well on exams. In sum, microeconomics is a great course for learning how to become a quantitative analyst/problem solver in any discipline, especially Finance/Asset Management!
