...I have received a B.A. and M.A. in Anthropology. Within Anthropology there are a number of sub-disciplines. My focus during my college and graduate years has been in Archaeology.

...I have taught all levels of math from basic math to AP Calculus and AP Statistics with a lot of success. I am well versed in Algebra II and have been teaching high school for 24 years. I took three years of engineering and did very well.

I have taught: SAT Prep, Pre-Caluculus, Trigonometry, Algebra 2 honors, Algebra 2 standard course, Geometry honors & Standard, Algebra 1, MCAS Prep, Pre-Algebra and 4-8th grade math. I have been working with elementary and middle school students since 1995, tutoring in math during the summers. I have also homeschooled my own children in K, 1, 2, 4, 6, and 8th grades in all subjects.

...Differential Equations builds on an understanding of four different levels of Calculus, all of which I have assisted other students in. This course takes the Calculus knowledge base a step further and creates new ways of problem solving and critical thinking. There are techniques to solve certain equations which allow students to understand other similar problems.

...I have taught Pre-Calculus for the past 13 years preparing students for my AP Calculus class. I have had strong results as the college bound students pass their entrance exams and the student going into Calculus end up with qualifying AP scores. I prefer to help the students understand the math, why it works and the theory behind the concepts rather than memorizing formulas.
