I enjoy being a math tutor. Math can be a challenging subject, but there is a true sense of satisfaction when you see the student actually understand the material and feel a confidence in working the problems. I believe Math is best learned by doing and working problems.

...My SAT score was in the 94th percentile so I know not only the ins and outs of SAT, SAT subject test, and ACT test prep but how to get results. I'm also well-versed in a broad array of AP subjects. In terms of language, I'm proficient in French, and spent a great deal of time tutoring kids in French for service hours while I was the president of French Honor Society at my high school.

...I take great pride in helping my students to overcome obstacles and understand the material. I am qualified in teaching any math subject up to and including college differential equations as well as most sciences and some programming languages. I would like to work with the student and parents to cater the lessons to what is being learned in their class and curriculum.
