...I have taken many mathematics graduate courses, as my research subject is on Chaotic Computation, Mathematical Computation. Geometry is all about visualization, bringing what is on the paper in the mind. Usually it works to teach it like that, but if not the instructor needs to be proactive and engage the student with a different method, not all people are visual persons.
