...Right after college, I decided to pursue a Masters in Public Health at Columbia University. After graduating, I landed a job at one of the premier hospitals in NYC as a trainer. My job required me to train doctors, nurses, and all other hospital staff members on how to use the electronic medical record system, which is the system where all patient notes are stored.

...I really like helping people understand math and fall in love with it like I did. Whenever I was studying math, there was always an "Aha!" Moment when something makes sense and clicks. I really like seeing that moment in my students eyes especially when they realize how cool math can be.I studied algebra in middle school, but have used it over and over again in my math studies at Columbia.

...Recently, in the course of home educating my own children, my love of pure math reignited. Now I teach math one-on-one every single day and I teach competitive math classes year-round. I have my own unorthodox methodologies, I make my own problem sets, I'm developing my own comprehensive educational website, etc.

...I enjoyed this so much that I would often stay late so the students could finish their work, even though I was not paid for that time. When tutoring students I like to have them give me as much information as possible. For example if they don't understand a specific problem,I won't simply give them the answer.
