I have been teaching formally for most of my adult life in a wide range of contexts--from elementary school to graduate school. After graduating from college with a degree in Biochemistry, I worked full-time as a primary school teacher for the next four years. I was a fifth grade teacher the first year and a science lab teacher (K-5th) for three years.

...I find it best to do practice tests and problems that range from easy to difficult in order to fully master the concepts, develop good test-taking strategies and be mentally prepared. If the student does not have prep material available, I can provide some if necessary. I usually begin by making sure any misconceptions are cleared up and that the other concepts make sense.
