I offer Math and Science tutoring for students located in the NW suburbs of Chicago. My degree is in Mechanical Engineering from Rice University. I have worked in many positions related to the field as well as in software development.

...I loved learning about emergency medicine and emergency care so much that I would love to help anyone who is striving to achieve the same. My tutoring radius is 20 miles. If a student is at the end of the radius, I would prefer to find a meeting place between both locations, such as a public library, etc.. I will travel up to 20 minutes at my current hourly rate.

...I have been a math teacher from 6th grade to Algebra II (currently teaching Junior High Math) and a member of NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics). I focus on understanding the concept rather than procedure memorization. My tremendous amount of experience helps assess and clarify math difficulties quickly. I look forward to discussing with you how I can help.

I am a certified math teacher for grades 6-12. I have tutored since high school and have worked with a diverse group of learners. I have experience tutoring students who struggle academically and also have worked with gifted students wanting an extra challenge through Northwestern University's Center for Talent Development.

...My goal with teaching is to show students how Math can be used in real world problems which will instill a want to learn.I have used Algebra 1 on a daily basis in my career with various large scale engineering projects. Algebra and Algebra II have always been a favorite subject of mine. I specifically enjoy that these subjects can be used in real life problems and scenarios.
