A little bit about my background: I went into teaching 10 years ago to be able to make a difference in the lives of children. Soon after I started my education degree, the realm of high stakes testing began. I spent a number of years inside the classroom and decided it wasn't the place for me - teaching to the test is not what helps students actually learn, in my opinion.
