...I use the Barron's book for the national tests. In my opinion it is the most difficult and if a student does well with Barron's then the regular test should be much easier. I believe that math is fun and that overcoming many students' phobia about math is the key to success.

...I prefer to work with students using whatever materials are necessary for them to understand the concepts and be successful both with me and their regular classroom teacher. ...The SAT writing test is unusual because it tests students rhetorical skills considerably more than the ACT writing (English) test does. Rhetorical questions can be tricky, and even subjective. I've developed an approach to these types of questions that make them considerably easier for students to tackle.
