

...Algebra II is a return to an algebra based class, even though it usually follows geometry. Most students need a refresher on the more complex properties of algebra found in previous classes. Also, this is the first time we see more interesting topics such as conic sections, logarithms, trig and others.

...Some of the strategies I have employed are: having the student stand by their desk when they feel restless. Using the student as a classroom helper in exchange for agreeing to complete modified assignments. Also, I utilized a squeeze toy on the students desks so they might use it when bored.
