...As the title states, proofreading is proof that you read your work before submitting it. The writing portion of the SAT covers two main areas: multiple-choice, and the essay. The multiple-choice portion reflects spelling, grammar, and punctuation, and how to correct sentences and paragraphs using those mechanics of writing.
