...I try to bring that into my tutoring whenever possible and find that understanding the material in the context of the real world can make it much more manageable (and much more fun).I tutor in math and science---whether it be **geometry** or calculus, molecules or ecology--and my goal is for students...

...I have tutored students of many different backgrounds, including students with learning disabilities, and students with a strong grasp of the content but wish to dive deeper. I also teach test taking strategies to guarantee the student is rewarded academically for his or her hard work. Feel free to contact me if you wish to learn more about me, or schedule any lessons.

I've been teaching or tutoring for over twenty years in some form or another. For me the reward from tutoring is when I see that a student has caught onto an idea, when the light bulb goes on. In my career I've not only studied physics, mathematics and statistics, but applied them as well as time management and study skills.

I graduated from Cal Poly, San Luis Obispo in 2012 with a B.S. in Mathematics. I've been tutoring math since high school, though, and so far I've helped more than 40 students. My students have ranged in age from 10 to 55, and in subjects from pre-algebra to calculus and statistics.

...I am a very approachable person and my students and I work close together to understand the difficulties being encountered in the subject and finding individualized approach to make that concept easy to understand. My students love me and we talk through email and texting. I am quick to response through texts.
