Hi there. I have to admit even the summary of my resume won't fit in the two paragraphs that Wyzant is allowing. :-) So here's a very abbreviated verison. I received the Ph.D. in engineering from UCSD in 1992 and a B.S. degree in mathematical sciences (probability and **statistics**) from UCSB in 1985.

Over the years I've found a lot of the easier techniques to solve the problems, and I've developed intuition about where students tend to struggle. I've taken the general GRE a total of three times so far, and I've developed study techniques that have proven to be effective.

...I am also an Adjunct Professor of Physics at National University. I am exceptionally well qualified to tutor high school math, including test preparation. I have a BA in mathematics from Oberlin College and a PhD in physics from the Catholic University of America.
