When analyzing data for my PhD we had to use biostatistical analyses such as Discrete Fourier Transforms to pull out fundamental and 2nd harmonic waves from VEP (Visual Evoked Potential) data. These results were further analyzed by using T-Circ ^2 multivariate stats to discern a nervous system response from random neural background noise.
