I feel that I am a very patient tutor, and can greatly help children learn material that they are struggling in. I do not give them the answers, but rather push them in the right direction, and make sure that it sticks with follow-up questions.

...I have been a math teacher from 6th grade to Algebra II (currently teaching Junior High Math) and a member of NCTM (National Council of Teachers of Mathematics). I focus on understanding the concept rather than procedure memorization. My tremendous amount of experience helps assess and clarify math difficulties quickly. I look forward to discussing with you how I can help.
