...I always track a student's progress based on what he or she hopes to accomplish. One way I do this is by going over old tests, making sure a student is proficient in the problems that are correct and helping in the areas where confusion still exists. My favorite part of teaching is when I am able to aid a student in grasping a challenging concept.

...I have also been assisting high school classes in precalculus and AP calculus. I am a retired physician. I decided to tutor after my retirement because I enjoy working with students of all ages, and I love exploring these subjects myself.

...I have had experience in classroom settings, small group settings, and one-on-one situations with children from toddler age to sixth grade. I left the field to become a stay at home mom to my four children. I have continued to volunteer at my children's school and run our Sunday School program at church.

...I have tutored multiple high school students with marked improvements on grades in physics and biology especially. I am currently instructing in biology at the community college that I work at and once the exercise science department grows will be expanding into that field as well. My background is in biology and kinesiology, but I also have a large involvement in medicine as a 911 EMT.

I am a 7th grade science teacher in Rehoboth, Massachusetts looking to help students with homework and study skills outside of school hours. I graduated with my bachelor's degree from Westfield State University, in May of 2015. I was lucky enough to get a job as a classroom teacher right out of college and I have fallen in love with it!
