...Many times if a students does not understand a concept it has not been explained the right way to them. Some students need to look at a math problem in a visual, or hands-on way to understand what is happening. Simply explaining how to do something like add fractions is not going to help a student be successful, they need to understand why we do the steps, and how they work.
