...I have also served as a math coach for a class in Pre-calculus. This was be an important experience because I was helping students who are not necessarily on a math-science track. I have just participated in a Mathematics research project that involves the Calkin-Wilf tree.

...My tutoring style is pretty basic. I figure out where the student is struggling and try different approaches until I find one that gives him or her a better understanding of what needs to be accomplished. I then use repetition for as long as needed in order to completely grasp a concept.
