Back in high school, I scored a 5 in the AP European History test and went on to study history in college. I ended up with a B.A. in History with a focus on European Medieval History so I've definitely kept current with European History. Bringing a college-level education to my tutoring definitely helps broaden a student's perspective, especially for the DBQ and essay questions.

...I have tutored ISEE previously. I think a tutor can transfer more math knowledge than vocabulary/English during a given amount of tutoring time, but will be happy to provide English help also. My teaching credential is good for Math, which came about because I myself passed the National Teachers' Exam (NTE) in Math, which is now the PRAXIS.
