...When I tutored after college, my business slowly expanded based purely on referrals and word of mouth. I think a personal relationship between myself and my clients is very important for learning to take place. Many a student has gotten bad scores simply because their teachers failed to engage them in a subject.

...As a tutor it is very rewarding to be sitting next to a student at the exact moment they "GET IT" and then go on to do well on their test. I work from a baseline of diagnostic test results and design instructions that will address deficiencies. A course of study to achieve a goal is usually the best approach but I can work under deadlines as well.

...Simple things like the way you solve a rubik's cube, or even the migrating patterns of birds, can be explained by math. So to say you don't like math is to say you don't like anything-because math is in everything! Originally I was a computer science minor as well, which always left people asking me-why computer science?

...Plus, it's not so bad to get an early start prepping for the PSAT as it is quite similar to the SAT. ACT English is often mistaken as the "English that's closer to school English."
It's not. It's actually a little bit more challenging than the SAT I Writing section for some individuals.
