I have been teaching for 16 years and I am currently teaching Algebra 2 at a High School in Mesa. In the past I have taught Pre-Algebra, Algebra 1, Honors Geometry, College Algebra & Trigonometry and Pre-Calculus as well as Algebra 2. I have a Bachelors degree in Mathematics with a minor in Computer Science.

I got my undergraduate degree in Mathematics from the University of Nevada, Reno in 2009. I graduated with a Master's degree from the same university in Secondary Education to get certification to teach. I have been certified in three different states, Nevada, New Mexico, and Arizona and taught in all three as well.

Furthermore, during my first semester of college, I worked with a program called America Reads where I created activities every session for both a 6th and 3rd grader to help them master common core standards.

Having been a student of course, and as a teacher, I understand the apprehension of students when it comes to Math. One thing I tell them is Math can be easy with the right approach, which means have a positive attitude towards it.
