...A number of years later, as a part-time graduate student at NYU, I took a two-semester graduate-level course in linear algebra and achieved grades of "A" and "A-". In my job as an insurance company actuary, I introduced the matrix-oriented programming language MATLAB to my work group and trained others in its use.
