...I do not believe in busy work, but in specific targeted lesson planning for the individual student. This is why I think I am more suited to tutoring as opposed to large classroom teaching. Students can take so much more out of one on one interactions.I have worked with students before in mathematics.

I graduated UConn in May of 2011 with a BS in math. While at UConn, I tutored math an average of 8 hours per week at the tutoring center, and I was voted Most Valuable Tutor in fall of 2010. I am good at breaking things down into manageable pieces and finding new ways to explain topics that students are struggling with.
