...I don't make any extra work for students (unless requested), as I find most of them bogged down already. I simply help students understand what they are currently working on in school and then fill in the gaps in their knowledge. When a student doesn't understand something, I go back to what they do understand and build on that.

...I believe that homework is necessary to reinforce and solidify what they are learning so I often give extra homework. Often students just need someone to reinforce what they are learning or to explain it in a different way. Every student has different strengths and weaknesses and each must be taught as an individual.
