...I always try to explain things in a way that one who is not a science geek would understand. I believe this is my biggest strength - to relate what is confusing or incomprehensible to something the student knows and can understand and relate to. Trigonometry looks at the relationships of angles and side lengths of triangles.

...I adapt my instructional methods to be most effective for the student's learning style. I try to help the student see the "why" behind a concept so he/she is able to reason if the conclusion is reasonable rather than strictly rely on rote memory. Sometimes saying things a different way or demonstrating a concept in a concrete manner will help the student achieve the goal.
