...I believe the guided discovery learning approach is beneficial for student achievement. Teaching in this manner provided me with the insight that student were internally motivated to participate in the activity and were much more engaged than they would have been with just a lecture. The students were learning, without being forced to learn and had a more enjoyable learning experience.
