I spent 16 years in the sports and entertainment industry where I worked in media relations, marketing and graphic design. Because of minimal resources and requested assignments, I had to learn the capabilities of Microsoft Word, especially when it came to graphics. I eventually developed the company's first fan newsletter, which was faxed (yes, faxed!) to over 800 subscribers.
