My experience is that of a Foreign Language Instructor at local colleges. I teach beginning and intermediate levels of Spanish and Italian. I have, also, designed classes--in other words, when the class was "special" and no one was really sure how to teach it, I took all necessary information from the students and then designed it to meet the grammatical plus the specific needs of that class.

...I love it! It was my major in college and I use it every day in my career as a non-profit manager. I work at an elementary school in Camden and I love speaking Spanish at work and while traveling (I have been to over 13 countries!). Being with people makes me happy, especially if I can help someone reach their goals.

...Ideally, I like to immerse my students in the language on the first day so I use the target language as much as possible. There is a difference between tutoring vs. teaching and I will help students/parents identify their needs to get the best out of my lessons. Finally, I teach/tutor all levels of Spanish, intro to literature, and creative writing.
