...I have a few students who I've helped improve their understanding of sets, relations, functions, algorithms, mathematical induction, finance and difference equations. Usually when meeting discrete math students I bring Discrete Mathematics by Richard Johnsonbaugh. The advanced concepts of discrete math crept their way into my undergraduate thesis in form of complexity of algorithms.
