I have been tutoring part time since 2007. I graduated in 2010 from Ramapo College where I majored in business finance and minored in mathematics. I've tutored elementary school through college aged students in many different subjects including elementary math, pre-algebra, algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trigonometry, pre-calculus, and calculus.

...My tutoring experience began as the President of the local chapter of the Society of Physics Students. In this position, my fellow students and I offered our physics knowledge to the West Chester University students enrolled in the conceptual, algebra based, and calculus based physics classes. ...

...I completed my degree in Middle Grades (4-8) Education, with a concentration in Math and Science, in the Fall of 2015. I have a passion for math, in particular helping people grasp concepts of math they do not understand. I know many people struggle with, or simply don't enjoy math; this is one of the reasons why I love to teach it.

...I am a student so I have the same mindset that most students have. I know how to appeal to their senses and make them understand the material that is both quick and easy. Being taught by someone that is their own peer group allows students to be more calm and not be overwhelmed as it just seems like it is their friend that is teaching them.

I have a Ph.D. in Chemistry and undergraduate degrees in both Chemistry and Mathematics. I enjoy sharing my knowledge of both Math and Chemistry and have tutored both subject areas. I try to teach students basics then encourage and help them to solve more complicated problems.
