...My goal is to keep students engaged in and challenged by their work without overloading them with too much. After every session, I assign a small amount of homework in order to help them work on their skills outside of tutoring sessions. For example: I may assign a short essay for students working on their writing skills, or a brief reading assignment for those working on reading skills.
