This calculator finds prime and composite factors of a given number. The calculator will factor any number less than 1 million. When entering numbers, please use only the digits 0 through 9, and avoid decimal points, commas, letters, or other symbols.

For algebraic factoring, use the Expression Factoring Calculator for expressions such as 'x^2 + 4x + 4', and the Equation Factoring Calculator for equations such as 'x^2 + 4x + 4 = 0'.
