In the formula just think that the value between the second + and the first ( is a 1
So the question would read:
C + T + 1(C + M)
The first bit, C + T is easy then it's just
1(C + M) Which is just 1 X (C + M), which is 1 times / multiplied by 6 + 2
This then is 6 + 4 + 1x(6 + 2)
= 6 + 4 + 6 + 2 = ?
